Yes, you heard me! Over 4,000 iPhone’s have been stolen in Belgium. That’s about three million US dollars, or about two million euros. Apparently, the iPhone-nappers cut a hole through a warehouse and took the iPhone’s that were just about to be given to ‘Mobistar’.

Investigations are continuing but the police are yet to have any leeds as of yet. A spokesperson from Mobistar says:

“We have the serial numbers of stolen iPhones blocked anyway so they can not be used,””People who want to buy an iPhone, which is best done in an approved outlet and not on street or on the black market.”

So, if your in Belgium, or anywhere in the world – take this advice: Always buy your iPhone officially because you’ll never able to tell how your iPhone got to you.
